When building in your mind
No need to be foiled -
Build them high
And build them in gold!Take a tour with me in the Musea Garden. It's a vast land mixed with plants and sand, but don't stop there ... It's an architectural garden, a sculpture garden, an astrological garden with each of the 12 oases 1 astrological signs separated from the next by a sea of sand.
There's mortared stone walls, and paths that wind like tendrils, Massai like wooden fences and Zen like raked pebbles in the shape of waves, a stream/fountain that is pumped along from the Art Arch Pumphouse, lofty bridges, and even a 13th stop to think about it all.
Start at the front of the zodiac, at Aries, at the top of the next page and in the center is an overview with start - Aries at the bottom right corner. Follow the arrows, numbers, and trail. HIKERS HO!
ARIES: #1 The pioneer. Two high hills of grass, haystacks but more substantial with stout earth and beautiful green grass. A natural gate. Enter.
TAURUS: #2 Orchard (seen from above) Bradford Pear Trees? (Early bloomers) Azaleas? Methodical rows. Fruit baring? Would be practical. Sensuousness a necessity! Solid. Fragrant. Earthy. Venusian.
GEMINI: #3 Book Rocket. Library of children's classics. Adventure books- Adventure building! Single helix stairway (oh so RNA!) All aboard, blasting off to the ... Moon
CANCER: #4 Crescent Moon Sculpture. Sit on its cradle. Be lullified, 'rock'ed to sleep while the 'full' Moon travels over head to its next phase ...
LEO: #5 Sun, Ball, massive and regal in the center - center of a maze. Follow the painted trails. Find the way from the Kuiper Belt to the first disc, Pluto (now the farthest out without a doubt) to Neptune, to Uranus ( of the faulty pronunciation) to Saturn, to Jupiter (2nd star), on the Asteroid Road to Mars, Earth, Venus, Mercury, & then ... you stand in the shadow (a koan in itself) of the Sun, Ball, massive and regal in the center - center of a maze ...
VIRGO: #6 Neat and healthy and wise. A well manicured path of stones through bushes and shrubs, ... A wall, but wait , why the name "a gateless gate" ? No gate nowhere. Just a missing stone ... Imperfect? Or perfection with character?
LIBRA: #7 Orchard 2. Libras love two (love too), love partners, love anti - matter with their matter - it matters! And it's beautiful - this line of trees - a sophisticated, cultured, grove.
SCORPIO: #8 Art Arch, power station for the garden's stream, hidden behind its walls. Go underneath like under ground, but light at the end of the tunnel to soar in. Arches of Triumph? Yes but not triumphs of war, triumphs of peaceful masses.
SAGITTARIUS: #9 Travel up. Soar high. See out. See the big picture. Joyous Day Tower!
CAPRICORN: #10 Saturn Sculpture with its stout beautiful wings. Not the work of a moment! Enduring. Endearing.
AQUARIUS: #11 Bell Tower. That air in the air came from here. How humanitarian to sail it out for all to hear. Rich and poor - no charge but that of an electrical charge. The notes are like bolts of lightning!!!
PISCES: #12 An eternal flame flickers on the porch behind those columns. And upstairs a theory of why. Light your candle from this flame and take it with you as you exit.
THE END
