Paradise Misplaced

Zagreus Nebula
That which has been is that which will be,
And that which has been done is that which will be done.
So, there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there anything of which one might say,
"See this, it is new"?
--Ecclesiastes 1: 9-10

Invocation

Help me, oh Muse, to sing of hidden things
Of the struggle between Darkness and Light,
Which continues down through all the ages,
Upon this world, and upon worlds beyond,
Of the war between angels good and bad,
Upon another world beyond Pluto,
And the fall of the bad, who were cast out,
Of how the bad angels came to this world,
And sowed seeds of sin and evil pleasures,
That this world too might fall into Darkness,
Til a Savior might appear among us,
And restore the Light which here had been lost.
